The number of properties sold in Cyprus fell to a record low in 2012 with local pundits predicting that this year will be worse than last, while the Financial Mirror concludes that 2013 will be another "Annus Horribilis".
The number of properties sold in Cyprus during 2011 fell to their lowest level since records began according to the figures published earlier today by the Department of Land and Surveys.
During the first three months of this year property sales valued at £560 million have been made and it looks as if 2007 could set a record for the number of properties transacted on the island.
